Thursday, July 18

Hang at Villa Roma & Pizza Dinner

Hanging around Villa Roma playing sport games.

Pizza Dinner at Tavern on Main in Jeffersonville.

Friday, July 19

Calm Before the Storm

The day will be spent at Villa Roma, but the Bridal Party and Parents
will have the Rehearsal Dinner at Handsome Hollow (5-9 pm).
There are restaurants at Villa Roma, but Tavern on Main is a nicer off-campus option.

Saturday, July 20

It’s the day, folks.

2 pm – 2:45 pm

Buses will shuttle people from Villa Roma to the venue.

4pm – 12am

Ceremony, Dinner, Dancing etc.

10 pm – 12 am

Buses will shuttle people back to Villa Roma.

Sunday, July 21

The Family that Floats Together

11 am – ~5 pm

Transportation, inner-tubes, bagels, coffee, snacks & booze provided.

Monday, July 22

Au Revoir!

Check out and drive back to NYC

Fly into NYC

Newark (EWR), LaGuardia (LGA), & JFK are
roughly the same distance, JFK is slightly farther.
You’ll want to rent a car or car pool to Villa Roma,
or wherever you’re staying nearby (~2.5 hrs). 

There is also a bus from NYC Port Authority to Villa Roma.
It runs after Memorial Day via Coach USA.

Saturday shuttle Schedule

Ubers are scarce in the area so we have hired 4 buses for the evening.
You may also self-drive if you prefer.

Villa Roma to Handsome Hollow

Pick-Up Times: 2 pm, 2:30 pm, 2:45 pm
Drive Time: 40 minutes

Sunday River Float

11 am – 5-ish pm

Buses will shuttle people to & from Villa Roma to the river.

Wedding Attire

Cocktail casual, tie optional. Please note that our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors and on grass. We encourage you to wear whatever footwear you find agreeable.

Weather

Handsome Hollow is typically a little cooler than NYC (historical mean of 72°),
but it’s still the humid east coast in the middle of Summer so
dressing lighter is encouraged. Here is a link to weather in the area.

3–7 PM

Hanging at Villa Roma

Loren will be hanging around Villa Roma either bowling, playing volleyball, or getting kicked off the go-cart track for reckless driving. There are a ton of activities, but everything is first come first serve so we’ll have to see what’s available. Feel free to call him to coordinate meeting up: 949 338 4373.

7:30–10:30 pm

Pizza at Tavern on Main’s
outdoor Biergarten

We’ve reserved the outdoor space at Tavern on Main in Jeffersonville (5 min from Villa Roma) for a little pizza party. There will be a cash bar, and the option to order from their menu if you’re not feeling pizza.

Sunday, July 21

The Family that Floats Together

Late morning / early afternoon, we’ll all float the Delaware River in inner tubes! Transportation, inner-tubes, bagels, coffee, snacks & booze provided. It’s a casual float, with very small “rapids” but “not suitable for children under 65 lbs.” There will be alcohol on the river, so we suggest staying in Upstate NY again on Sunday night (after the float) and fly out Monday.
